July 25, 2021 by Tisha 3 Comments

It’s been a few years since I’ve last made a cherry galette.  This time though, I wanted to try to make a grain-free sweet cherry galette. This galette crust is made using my tried-and-true almond flour recipe, and I’ve used it from everything to pies, quiches and savoury galettes. So if you are grain-free, paleo,

Here’s How Stress Can Make You Eat More

June 18, 2021 by Tisha Leave a Comment

I want to tell you a story, and I want you to let me know if you relate to this. I used to work for an agency creating video and photography content around food. The job was good, but often stressful. Sometimes the workload was heavy, sometimes the clients were particular, sometimes things would go

April 8, 2021 by Tisha 2 Comments

Hello, jello! I know it’s been a hot minute (ahem, a month), so I’m super excited to get this post out, because I’ve been thinking about it for so freaking long. Dairy & hormones—friend or foe? There’s a lo Dairy & hormones—friend or foe?

There’s a lot of mixed info out there, but here’s the truth:

❌ Dairy doesn’t *always* mess with hormones.

✅ Some people are sensitive to it, while others digest it just fine.

✅ Full-fat dairy (like yogurt) has probiotics, calcium & vitamin D—which can actually help PMS!

The key? Listen to your body. If dairy triggers symptoms like bloating or cramps, you might want to try temporarily cutting it out to see how you feel.

But if you’ve been told you need to cut out dairy for your hormone health, just know there’s a lot of benefits to incorporating it into your diet! #hormonehealth #integrativenutrition #periodproblems

✨Did you know?✨

There’s a link between IBS and endometriosis: they often co-exist together. If you struggle with symptoms like bloating or stomach pain, it might be worth checking for food intolerances, celiac disease or IBS.
