Hey lovely humans! I’m so excited to share this Healthy Chocolate Avocado Pudding with you.
Do you remember when chocolate avocado pudding was all the rage? It seemed every nutritionist and health blogger was whipping it up. And for good freaking reason: it’s so tasty. Honestly this is so decadent, no one will believe you when you tell them that it’s actually a high fibre treat free of refined sugar.
What I love about this is you can make it to last a few days, and then have it as a midafternoon snack, or a healthy (rich!) breakfast.
HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE AVOCADO PUDDING
In a food processor, blend together avocados, cacao powder, maple syrup, sea salt and vanilla. It’s that easy!

SUBSTITUTIONS
You can use dutch-processed cocoa powder if that’s what you have on hand. However, I love raw cacao powder because it’s unrefined and high in polyphenols (antioxidants!) and magnesium (needed for energy production, muscle function, brain and nervous system health!).
You can also swap out maple syrup for stevia, if you want a lower-carb option, or honey if that’s what you have on hand!
PS. Did you hear about my 6-week program launching in January? The Nourished Body Reset is a completely online program that’s going to teach you how to regulate your hunger, create a healthy relationship with food and finally ditch dieting.
If you’re new here, maybe you don’t know, but I struggled with disordered eating for years. I struggled with bulimia, with restrictive eating, and I denied myself any pleasure around food. As I healed and recovered, there were two big things that changed my relationship to food:
- I learned that certain foods caused me to binge, by dysregulating hunger. I never felt full, I was an insatiable pit
- I learned I had to give myself permission to eat food again, without judgement, without restriction
These two learnings changed my relationship to food. I’m no longer a dieter, I no longer spend hours thinking about what I’m going to eat or not eat. I no longer am chasing numbers on the scale, that don’t really mean anything.
And that’s what I want for you. I want you to have that freedom.
If this is something that resonates with you, and you’re feeling a lot of “aha! that sounds like me now!” then I highly recommend you join now.
