Life Update

When life throws you lemons.

Hello, hello everyone!

The last few weeks have been absolutely chaotic, and I haven’t had a chance to write any new blog posts.

Allie, Poe and I were all set to move to our new Toronto apartment–every item on the list had a check mark, every box was labelled, everything was a go–when the night before we were supposed to move, our Property Manager called. They found bed bugs–the Toronto epidemic. Gross.

So suddenly we had no place to go, with my classes starting the following week. Let me tell you, “stressed” doesn’t even begin to describe the situation. Thankfully, Allie’s parents took us in, so we are currently holding up their basement in Burlington, so I can continue to go to school until we figure out our next move (literally).  It’s hard to feel homeless when you have 24/hr access to a car and home cooked meals every night, so for that, I’m eternally grateful.

In the meantime, my blog posts might be sparse, because unfortunately not only are we busy looking for an apartment, getting ready for school and job hunting (yikes), but my camera and kitchen tools are all packed up in boxes.

I will do my best and hopefully we can get everything sorted in the next few weeks!

Good luck to everyone starting school in the next few weeks 🙂

Tisha
