My Favourite Healthy Beauty Face Products

It’s been awhile since I’ve last done one of these posts. To be honest, it’s because I don’t really like to switch up my makeup or skincare. When I find something I like, I hold onto it. In fact, you’ll probably a notice a lot of the same favourites today were listed here back in 2016. But every once in awhile I get introduced to a new gem and it gets added into my beauty routine. So today, I thoughts I’d share My Favourite Healthy Beauty Face Products!

It doesn’t matter where I shop, I like to get things as clean as possible. The Detox Market is actually one of my favourite places for luxury clean beauty products: everything there feels so high quality and beautiful. I usually shop at the one down the street from me, but you can check out their online store here. As for makeup, Sephora is still my happy place, and I’m thrilled that they’ve really branched out in their healthy beauty selection. They carry such a big selection of clean skincare and makeup items, which makes it that much easier to avoid unwanted parabens and toxins.

Alright, let’s dive in!

My Favourite Healthy Beauty Face Products | The Nourished MindRMS UNPOWDER. While I’ve tried a lot of setting powders (and honestly, you can get cheap–and still clean–alternatives at the drug store) I love the RMS Unpowder because it’s so silky and goes on smoothly.

RMS LIVING LUMINIZER. This has been a staple in my makeup big since I was 22 (I’m 27 now). It’s blend of coconut oil and minerals give it such a pretty sheen, and translate to such a beautiful and natural looking glow on your face. I’ve tried a couple highlighters, but what I love about this guy is that it actually moisturizes your face, so the glow comes partly from good skin hydration!

My Favourite Healthy Beauty Face Products | The Nourished MindWILDCRAFT CALM + CLEANSE MAKEUP REMOVER. I love this stuff. It calms my skin (like the name sense!) and also hydrates it. Personally, I don’t like to use it as an actual makeup remover (I find it can’t take off my mascara very well, and I end up having to use a lot of it). Instead, I use miscellar water to clean my face, and then go in with this to tone my skin and clean up anything the miscellar water missed. Whenever I stop using it I find my skin starts to get unruly. It’s been 5 years and this bad boy isn’t going anywhere.

My Favourite Healthy Beauty Face Products | The Nourished MindWILDCRAFT CLARIFY FACE CREAM. The other absolute love in my life when it comes to skincare. I was introduced to this product from my ex, who at a trade show saw this product that was supposed to hydrate dry skin without causing breakouts. Up until this point, I almost only used coconut oil to moisturize my face because I’m so sensitive to other moisturizers (but coconut oil often clogged my pores). This stuff is magic. Not only does it moisturize without causing breakouts, but if I start to breakout (from makeup, hormones, new products) this instantly smoothes it, and I wake up the next day to a clear face! I’ve also used it to calm all sorts of skin issues over the years: bites, hives, sunburns and rashes. My mom loves it just like me. I swear if you have dry skin and there’s one product on this list you need to get, it’s this guy.

My Favourite Healthy Beauty Face Products | The Nourished Mind TARTE AMAZONIAN CLAY 12-HOUR FULL COVERAGE FOUNDATION. Another staple in my routine. It’s very full coverage, so a little goes a long way. And like it says, it’s all quite long lasting. It’s one of the few foundations that matches my skin colour, sits nicely on my skin, doesn’t break me out and doesn’t leave my face feeling gross or heavy. Honestly, for such a heavy duty foundation, it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing makeup. I know Tarte might not be the cleanest, but for me it’s free of a lot of junk while still being effective on my dry and sensitive skin.

My Favourite Healthy Beauty Face Products | The Nourished MindTARTE RAINFOREST OF THE SEA AQUACEALER CONCEALER.This is actually a new addition that I’ve been using for the last year. I’ve tried a lot of concealers, and found the cleaner options often creased or split under my eyes. Not cute. This concealer is very full coverage (no baggy undereyes, yay!) and lasts all freaking day. In the summer, I’ll often just wear this on my face, without any foundation.

Dairy & hormones—friend or foe? There’s a lo Dairy & hormones—friend or foe?

There’s a lot of mixed info out there, but here’s the truth:

❌ Dairy doesn’t *always* mess with hormones.

✅ Some people are sensitive to it, while others digest it just fine.

✅ Full-fat dairy (like yogurt) has probiotics, calcium & vitamin D—which can actually help PMS!

The key? Listen to your body. If dairy triggers symptoms like bloating or cramps, you might want to try temporarily cutting it out to see how you feel.

But if you’ve been told you need to cut out dairy for your hormone health, just know there’s a lot of benefits to incorporating it into your diet! #hormonehealth #integrativenutrition #periodproblems
✨ Can diet help with endometriosis? ✨ Endomet ✨ Can diet help with endometriosis? ✨

Endometriosis affects about 10% of women and people assigned female at birth worldwide, and is one of the most common causes of pelvic pain for women of reproductive age.

While we still need more research in this area, some foods might be helpful in lowering inflammation, getting rid of extra estrogen and avoiding the triggers that make endometriosis symptoms worse.

✨Did you know?✨

There’s a link between IBS and endometriosis: they often co-exist together. If you struggle with symptoms like bloating or stomach pain, it might be worth checking for food intolerances, celiac disease or IBS.
