This Chunky Monkey Smoothie is packed with protein and healthy fats, giving you all the flavour of a milkshake, but with a more balanced nutritional profile to keep you feeling full without wreaking havoc on your blood sugar.
How To Make The Chunky Monkey Smoothie
We love an easy recipe, and that’s exactly what this is. Simply add all the ingredients into a blender, and blend until smooth! If you want to bump up the nutrition in this, add in a large handful of spinach–just know, it will give the smoothie a slighty less-than-appealing grey colour!
You can also increase the fibre here by adding in a tablespoon of ground flax or chia seeds!

Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
Cocoa Powder
Almond Milk
Ice
And, while totally optional, you can be extra like me and add a garnish to your smoothie by adding a swirl of peanut butter to the glass and topping it with sliced bananas and cocoa powder! (Because who doesn’t love to go all out sometimes, you know?)

Ingredients
- 2 Bananas
- 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 2 tbsp Peanut Butter
- 2 cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 1 cup Ice
- 1 scoop Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve and enjoy!
