Grain-Free Hot Cross Buns | The Nourished Mind

Hey lovely humans!

Can we agree that it’s been a hot minute?! I haven’t gone this long without written a blog post, in almost a year! Bananas. But don’t worry, it’s all been for good reason. Before I dive into these Grain-Free Hot Cross Buns, let me tell you about what I’ve been doing.

The Nourished Body Reset: How To Restore Your Metabolism, Stop Feeling Hungry + Find Food Freedom

I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to create a program for you! If you’ve been following along for awhile, then you’re probably pretty familiar with my food philosophy: eat whole foods that nourish you and your goals, and ditch the diet mentality. But sometimes, those two thoughts kind of contradict each other. I mean how do you eat for a specific goal, but still allow yourself to eat whatever you want?

Ahh, that’s the magic behind this course. I’ll be doing a deep dive into how to eat intuitively (as in trust your gut!) while also working with your body, and your biology, to feel your best. I want to give you the power to eat a cupcake without guilt, and the knowledge to know how it affects every system in your body, so you’re not just throwing darts. You’ll learn how to make effective, sustainable changes.

Grain-Free Hot Cross Buns

Okay, in other exciting news, I’ve recently teamed with Root + Revel to create some super tasty + delicious recipes! I’m so thrilled to share this. I first heard of Kate at Root + Revel on the Food Blogger Pro podcast, and was so inspired by her story as a freelance journalist turned blogger that I began to follow her every move quite closely.

And then last January, she launched Six-Figure Blogger Academy, and I immediately signed up. It was a steep investment, but I’m a big believer that you need to invest to make money (and not to get woo-woo, but energetically, I think when you put money into things you signal to the universe that you want this, you know?).

I learned a lot from her and her team, so I was thrilled when they asked me to be a contributor for their blog!

These hot cross buns are everything you hope them to be: fluffy, warm, fruity. Oh, and they’re totally grain-free.

Dairy & hormones—friend or foe? There’s a lo Dairy & hormones—friend or foe?

There’s a lot of mixed info out there, but here’s the truth:

❌ Dairy doesn’t *always* mess with hormones.

✅ Some people are sensitive to it, while others digest it just fine.

✅ Full-fat dairy (like yogurt) has probiotics, calcium & vitamin D—which can actually help PMS!

The key? Listen to your body. If dairy triggers symptoms like bloating or cramps, you might want to try temporarily cutting it out to see how you feel.

But if you’ve been told you need to cut out dairy for your hormone health, just know there’s a lot of benefits to incorporating it into your diet! #hormonehealth #integrativenutrition #periodproblems
✨ Can diet help with endometriosis? ✨ Endomet ✨ Can diet help with endometriosis? ✨

Endometriosis affects about 10% of women and people assigned female at birth worldwide, and is one of the most common causes of pelvic pain for women of reproductive age.

While we still need more research in this area, some foods might be helpful in lowering inflammation, getting rid of extra estrogen and avoiding the triggers that make endometriosis symptoms worse.

✨Did you know?✨

There’s a link between IBS and endometriosis: they often co-exist together. If you struggle with symptoms like bloating or stomach pain, it might be worth checking for food intolerances, celiac disease or IBS.
