For years, I was the person who said yes to everything and who overfilled my plate. Boundaries? Never heard of her.
It wasn’t until I crashed (as in: ZERO energy, sleeping through the day, chronic back-to-back infections that I couldn’t shake, cortisol levels on the floor, hormone imbalances) that I realized I needed an overhaul. And I’m not going to lie, it took MONTHS. But eventually, I started to feel like myself again. I started to have energy again. I started to feel at peace, for maybe the first time in my life.
