Summer time heat calls for light salads, bbqs, cold drinks + lighter desserts. Everything needs to be refreshing, cooling and not too heavy. For me, that means going with healthier, paleo desserts to help satisfy my sweet tooth without weighing me down. I want desserts that are fruity, chocolate-y or cold, and I’ve rounded up a list of 7 Healthy Paleo Desserts To Make This Summer!

     Ginger Rhubarb + Vanilla Cream Bars (paleo + vegan) 

    Coconut flour shortbread topped with vanilla cashew cream filling and a ginger rhubarb compote. It’s light, refreshing and really tasty. I think it’s best made the day before to let the base soften and absorb flavour!

I love cherry season. This grain-free galette is oozing with sweet cherry goodness and crisp, golden crust.

There’s a lot of mixed info out there, but here’s the truth:

❌ Dairy doesn’t *always* mess with hormones.

✅ Some people are sensitive to it, while others digest it just fine.

✅ Full-fat dairy (like yogurt) has probiotics, calcium & vitamin D—which can actually help PMS!

The key? Listen to your body. If dairy triggers symptoms like bloating or cramps, you might want to try temporarily cutting it out to see how you feel.
